Japan school uniforms get a makeover

Japan is getting a make-over, and the nation’s uniforms are getting a face lift.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the Japanese government is taking the opportunity to redesign the country’s uniform code to accommodate the new style of dress.

In recent years, Japan has been facing a spate of bullying and intimidation of its women, especially the younger generation.

The country’s women’s right organization, the Japan Women’s Federation, announced in October that it would host an “open house” for the new school uniforms on February 2, 2020.

The event is being held to promote the uniform changes.
